Rip Curl Opens New Sydney International Airport Store

Here at Rip Curl we create products that are specifically designed for a life on the road, a life on the Search – from high performance boardshorts to UV tees, to premium wetsuits, waterproof backpacks, ultra-light luggage and beyond.

If you’re a Rip Curl customer, chances are you’re one of the lucky ones in this world who gets to live that Search.

To help you on the journey, we’ve decided to open a brand new Rip Curl Flagship Store at the Sydney International Airport.

Located in the main retail area of the T1 Terminal at Charles Kingsford Smith, one of Australia’s busiest airports, the store will offer everything you need for your trip, no matter where in the world you’re headed.

“We had a store in the Sydney International Airport about three years ago, and it was really well received,” says Neil Ridgway, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer for Rip Curl.

“Because of the airport restructure it was eradicated. But due to high demand, we’ve brought it back. We’re proud of our products and we’re stoked to offer them to people about to take off on adventures around the globe.”

The store officially opened at 6am on July 7 to a steady stream of foot traffic and purchases.

So, are you on your way to chase waves or mountains? Or maybe you’re simply escaping the winter weather…

Wherever you’re off to, the Rip Curl Flagship Store in the T1 terminal will have you covered.
